Goal of the game
After receiving two cards, the player draws cards to approach the value 21 without exceeding it. The player's goal is to beat the croupier by obtaining a total of points higher than this one or by seeing the latter exceed 21. Each player plays against the dealer, which represents the bank, or the casino, and not against the other players .

Start a game of blackjackOnce you have chosen your table and bought your chips, place your bet
on the blackjack table in the circle that is assigned to you before the
dealer distributes the cards.1: The distribution of the initial mapsThe
croupier distributes two cards visible to each player and distributes
only one card, discovered (European rule without a hidden card). In Las Vegas and outside of Europe, the croupier distributes a second
closed card (turned face down against the table) at this point.Blackjack CaseThere is blackjack when the player receives 2 cards totaling a value of 21 on the initial deal (an Ace and a 10 or a figure). If
a player has a blackjack, the dealer will immediately pay the player 3:
2 (1.5 times the initial bet) before continuing with the other players
of the table provided the dealer does not have an ace As the first card. In this case an insurance will be offered to each player (see below the case of insurance). The
player with a blackjack will win one and a half times his initial bet
if the dealer does not have blackjack after distributing the second card
to the croupier. In case of a balckjack at the player and at the dealer, the hand will be declared null and no money will be exchanged.2: The turn of the playersAfter
receiving your first two cards and all blackjacks from the table have
been paid if there is reason to pay them, it is time to start playing. The player to the left of the croupier is the first to speak. The dealer asks the player if he wants an extra card. You
can draw (ask for a card) as many times as you like, as long as you do
not exceed 21. When you have a total that you find satisfactory, you let
the croupier know that you stay, and the game continues with the player
following. Some additional options exist, here is a summary of all possible actions in blackjack:- Draw a card: you want to take another card, which the croupier distributes to you. In
the games where the cards are dealt to the hoof, do not forget to tell
the croupier with a hand sign that you want to take a card or say
"Card". If the player shoots and exceeds 21, he loses his stake.- Stay: you stay if you are satisfied with your hand, that the total is sufficient; You do not want any extra card. Tell the dealer that you are serving with a horizontal hand gesture (above your cards) or saying "Stay".- Doubling the bet: you double your bet and you receive one card, one only. In
most casinos, you can "double up" only after receiving your first two
cards and if they total 9, 10, or 11. This rule may vary according to
casinos in France: since March 2007, casinos can allow Doubling on any result. To
receive your extra card, notify the croupier that you want to "double
up", just place a second bet near the initial bet on the box and the
dealer will give you a final card.
Split / Split:
If the first two cards of the player form a pair, he can separate them
into two separate hands, bet the same amount on each of them and play
them separately; This is called "doing a split" (sharing the cards). All 21 obtained after a split does not count as "blackjack", since it was not made with both original cards. The gain is therefore limited to the equal amount of the committed bet (and not the payment of blackjack to 3 for 2).
Insurance: If
the dealer's apparent card is an Ace, the player can "take out
insurance" to guard against blackjack, that is, making a bet not
exceeding half of his initial bet. If the dealer's hidden
card is a 10 or a figure, the player wins 2 to 1. If the second card (or
hidden card) of the dealer is not set to 10, the insurance bet is lost. Here is a simple trick for players who do not count cards: never take out insurance, probabilities favor home. For card counters: if the CT is at +3 or better, we systematically take insurance against an Ace,
